AlexanderLahuerta- while I appreciate your response, I am saddened once again. We have moved from the MS non consolidated task / project tools apart from Planner, to the Monday tool. The Planner API did not even allow to export Priority field, so no luck with PBI there.
I wanted to give MS a chance once agan, but once again it starts to sound really fishy. Instead of real integration / redesign, it seems more just like a simple rename of Project for the web, to the Planner Premium. Why those tools will use a different data store?
I can easily bet, that that way, the task board cards are not going to be unified either. While Planner allows to display a note, checklist or an image / attachement (and even there, I really don't understand, why those things are mutually exclusive), the Project board task card are absolutly unsatisfying, displaying just a task name.
My questing logically stems down to the future - will we get something like Project portfolios? We have tried to use a signle Project file for multiple projects, but:
- While Grid display is a tree, there is nothing like a separator line, to have more pleasant look like in Monday.
- Goals can't be tied to the particular sub projects. Simply put - there is nothing like a project / subproject means in terms of just one Project file.
- So how can we achieve a consolidated view thru multiple separate Project files? A Roadmap? - this is, feature wise, just a very underdeveloped, unsatisfying and basic tool, which requires too much of a hassle, to get designed / connected to watched projects.
