Permissions - the all or nothing model is terrible
- Need to be able to restrict someone's interactions to just the task they're assigned - both in terms of what they can update, and what they can see
- Need to be able to grant e.g. full access to assigned tasks, edit access only. Ideally a stage setting where e.g. I can set a user to move to "review" but not to "publish"
- Status - please let us choose our own statuses! Backlog, queued, in progress, parked / blocked, abandoned, pending review, reviewed etc
Recycle Bin / Version Control
- In a regulated industry, we need to be able to recover deleted data
- This is compounded by the fact that we can't restrict user permissions
