There's no doubt in my mind there will significant benefits for PMOs that come from the changes to these products and the commitment to support Project Accelerator gives me great comfort. The biggest risk I see at present if I understand the way Planner and P4W are set up is that the Planner data is not on the Dataverse but P4W is. So I will be interested to see where data from the new features like advanced resource management will reside and where data will be stored through the project lifecycle from inception in Planner to P4W. I agree with your analogy to exporting - importing but I think some of the new features might make that differentiation a bit more complicated.
