We’re heading into a new era, where AI is an integral part of the workday. The tools you’re using for work management should be intelligent and help keep you focused and productive. However, even the...
lucianozagosapore It looks like subtasks will remain a feature in the new Planner (see their https://youtu.be/C0hmyc3mkVk?si=o6NANdqot6fGESxp on YouTube)
I also have question regarding licensing and permissions:
In my organization, there are only a couple of us who create and manage Projects, but we share them with colleagues and assign them to tasks so they can see what's been done, the status of tasks, what tasks are dependent on their tasks, deadlines, etc. Currently in Project for the Web, colleagues who only have an Office 365 license (not a Project Plan license) still have some basic permissions - they can view the whole project (not just tasks assigned to them), customize and filter their view, check off tasks, etc. (see screenshots below from https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/servicedescriptions/project-online-service-description/project-web-service-description). I am also able to share a project with an outside guest (even if they don't have a Project Plan license) as well as add them to a task without adding them to the group. (see: Guest access now available in Project for the Web!).
Will colleagues with an Office 365 license (not a Project Plan license) still be able to view task details and check off tasks for a Project/Plan I create? Will I still be able to share a Project/Plan with external guests who do not have a Project Plan license and will I be able to assign external guests to a task without adding them to the group?
