Microsoft Planner is part of Microsoft 365, which means customers with an eligible Microsoft 365 subscription can use it with no additional license required. Accessing premium capabilities will require a
paid subscription.
In other words, if you already have Planner via a M365 subscription, you will continue to get the features you get today in Planner. Premium features in the new Planner will be the ones offered today as Project paid features (which you can access a list on the second link above).
Finally, Copilot in Planner (we will share more about pricing and details for Copilot in Planner in the coming months).
