Roberto_Bojorquez let’s say we have a marketing team that has 90% it’s tasks internal, but want to add a non-marketing team member to a task that requires a certain speciality that they have. At the moment, it is impossible to do this without adding that non-marketing team member to the group…granting them full access to everything that comes with the group. Or you can use an api-only approach and create roster plans which will take those tasks out of the initial marketing plan.
Ideally, a user would be able to add anyone within the tenant (or a guest, I guess) to a task and have them able to interact with THAT TASK ONLY…and not get access to the group or rest of the plan.
That is how most other task management apps work. I understand why it is this way under the hood, but the data model chosen makes inter-team usage of Planner impossible.
