MicrosoftHas anyone had a good look at Project Server Subscription Edition yet? The documentation (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/project/deprecated-removed-features-project-server-subscription-edition) indicates that the OData api will be deprecated. Has anyone validated that is actually the case?
That is correct gwruck you will need to either use the OLAP cube or direct T-SQL.

Thanks Paul, but is anyone actually looking at this pathway of using Project Server Subscription Edition? I can't even find a way to purchase and it doesn't appear to be available in any partner program that I can find. There are many organisations that just need a solid portfolio scheduling tool and don't need to go to P6. I'm not feeling that any of the emerging alternatives like InEight Scheduler, Altus or PMO365 are really a step up from what we already have, more just a step sideways with some extra features that are not schedule related. The more I look at it, the downsides of moving to another tool that that really doesn't improve much on the existing tool (if at all) are starting to balance against the downside of having to host Project on-premise. I'd like to hear from anyone that is also coming to this conclusion.
Hi gwruck You are 100% correct. A lot of these partners tools have a bunch of additional stuff that we don’t need, and Microsoft has made it very difficult to find how to purchase and setup Project Server Subscription Edition. Seems like all the links related to Project Server on Microsoft’s website just redirect you to planner, which they need to change! I’ve been looking at options for PSSE and I know some organizations/people that can help. Check out:
