Oh my, what I am seeing here? I can understand some companie are here trying to help. But - why would anyone ever consider not so well known tools in comparison to the systems like Monday or Click-up? We switched to Monday two years ago and thought, that there would be some way back to MS with the Planner / Project integration.
But - nothing like that is happening. It starts being a real fiasco and someone at MS should get fired. MS just renamed Project for the web to Planner Premium and though they have promissed unified backends, what we are seeing is still two separate products. You can't use simple plans in portfolios. Planner tasks on kanban board are feature rich, whereas Project based ones are poor, not even able to display attachement / image, checklist. And don't get me started on Planner in-built chat vs the Project link to Teams channel difference.
Is ther actually any responsible PM or architect left at Microsoft? Is there going to be a REAL merger of both worlds? Or just select one and ditch the other.
