Hoping someone here can confirm if my understanding is right or wrong. We have Project Plan 3 in which we have our large corporate projects, but not everyone needs visibility of them at the detailed level (6000 tasks +). If I'm reading this thread correctly, then how we hoped it could work is not possible. We had hoped that we could have:
1. Our project Plan is maintained in MS Project by the Project Manager
2. Tasks in the project plan grouped into discrete stages/workstreams with multiple sub-tasks (say 30 groups)
3. Each stage/workstream linked to a separate Planner board (30 Planner boards)
4. Each board contains the tasks for that stage/workstream only with allocated resources and behaves as a Kanban board should
5. Boards are linked to the Project Plan which allows individual tasks to be updated in Planner and sync'ed automatically
Am I correct in reading this thread that that's not possible and not something even remotely on MS's radar without requiring an expensive 3rd partner app?
