As there were no news about To Do for more than a year and i see update popups in web version maybe once in a quarter now, i am guessing it is now a dormant project and Planner is the main focus. Just hope MS doesn't axe To Do as it is a good fit for quick and simple personal task management, where Planner is an overkill.

Most of us are hoping Microsoft consolidates everything into Planner as a single platform. Ironically, this user is specifically looking for a personal task management tool.
