@Karuana Gatimu I have been trying to find out if this new updated experience will require ToDo to be enabled for users. We currently have a number of teams utilising planner in Teams tabs but we have Todo disabled for all users as it requires an exchange mailbox and right now all users are still on Exchange On Prem for mailboxes (but using 365 for word, excel, powerpoint, onedrive, sharepoint etc). We plan to move them to EXO around Aug/Sep but due to some dependencies we have to resolve first cannot do it before .
My concern is if the new experience requires Todo to be enabled and this new update will stop our planner tabs from working if it is not. I cannot find any documentation stating requirements and of course it is not something I can test. Are you able to shed any light on this or ask the question to someone who could? It look like a great update and once everyone is on EXO it will be welcome but if there are dependencies it could cause us a headache.
