The "New location for the Mail, Calendar, People, and other modules" is nonsensical. It is a complete waste of limited real estate in the Outlook window. I now have a 5/8 inch strip of empty space at the left margin with nothing in it but five icons that I rarely, if ever use. Previously, the five icons were tucked away neatly at the bottom of the message list pane where I could easily access them on the odd occasion that I wanted to do so. Also, nonsensical is the restriction that removed the ability to decrease the width of the message list pane. Such a waste of space now that I am stuck with a 2.5 inch wide list of folders that only needs to be 1 inch wide. If I choose to keep the "New location" for apps, then I can slightly decrease the width of the message list pane, but it is still double the width that it needs to be. Further nonsensical is the change to make the full subject line in a message only readable by hovering the pointer over the subject. Of course, I always want to read the full subject!! I missed many an important detail until I realized I now always must hover over the subject! These "upgrades" are quickly making Outlook less and less efficient to use; Microsoft is "featuring" itself out of the email app market.
