So you have basically come into my office and rearranged my desk without permission. Like with most visual "improvements" to various MS products over the years, I have spent hours looking for a simple way to return my screen to the way it was so I could get back to work. And failing. I hope the "default" setting above fixes this issue so I can get back to work. That said, though it might not be right for this forum, I should be glad for any fix to get more space to preview emails and see more of my inbox list, something that has shrunk compared to previous Outlook versions. It has taken me a year or more to get used to the lack of pertinent visual data on my screen compared to Office 10. But as I am a top/bottom visually oriented person, putting the menu on the left side of the screen is, to put it frankly, annoying the hell out me. As is the aforementioned changing my workspace without my input. I'll try the "fix" but will likely just have to get used to it like with all the other changes. Here goes...
