Jim_B175 - I discovered it's not necessarily the 2211 Version that gives you the options shown to turn off the TARDBAR. It has to do with the "Channel" they let you on. I don't know WTF "Channels" are, but I assume that "Channel-1" of Version 2211 gives you the options, and "Channel-2" doesn't. So MS puts different users on different "Roads" to take them to the different versions. Pretty soon, they will move everyone over to "Channel-2" and NO ONE will have the option to turn it off. That's when I switch to Thunderbird.
I was able to change mine using the Powershell Reg Edit procedure. It really would be an interesting psychological study, but I cannot work with the TARDBAR on the left. Now that I have it removed, I just feel better. I suspect it's equal parts of: 1 - MS not giving us the option (even though we PAY to use the app), 2 - It's in the way, 3 - It is utterly USELESS anywhere on the screen, and really, MS making the statement that "You all are so freaking stupid that unless we put the TARDBAR on the left, you wouldn't be able to figure out how to access your other apps."
