MicrosoftThe location of the app bar is just bad. Just because all of the developers at MS have 40" wide screens, doesn't mean the rest of the world does. The bar takes up valuable reading pane space, and worse, if there is not enough space Outlook automatically makes the email list double sized meaning you see about half as many emails in a single screen. More clicks, more wasted time.
Please put back at the bottom. Like others I don't need links to other office apps inside office apps. If I use a product it will be pinned. Period. If I don't then I don't want its icon hogging valuable screen space.
Also the options listed in this support blog are not available if you do a fresh install of office. Fortunately someone posted a registry hack to override the default, but I am sure that is going away.
Give us the option please. This is not a Mac where we get told what to do because its the "best" for us. MS Windows/Office is chosen because we have choice. Stop removing choice or you will lose clients.
