I hate the new location for the Mail, Calendar, People, and Application. All the reasons others hate this location are valid concerns of mine but additionally, it is an inconvenient location because it interferes with the way in which I navigate to various functions. I can no longer just move my cursor all the way to the upper left at the far left and find the 'File' selection. I do not use these selections of Mail, Calendar, People, and other applications frequently. Sure I use Mail, Calendar, and People but not constantly and I rarely use Applications. I find it more helpful to have these selections in their original location at the bottom.
I am very upset at Microsoft making a change of this nature without taking into consideration the way all people use Outlook. I don't need Outlook to mimic Microsoft Teams format of its screen layouts.
If you want to have an option (Default or otherwise) for this new layout fine, but for Pete's Sake leave us the option to keep the Old Format with the ability to make it our default format by setting an option for its location at the bottom in some manner.
This was an extremely poor decision, as are many of Microsoft's decisions these days, to change the location without allowing users to make their own decision as to where it is located as Microsoft has done with other features.
Microsoft needs to implement a change immediately to allow moving the location of the Mail, Calendar, People, and Application selections.
