Cease and desist! Dismantle your hegemony of stupidity! Why not just make it an option? Incomprehensible blindness to the visual needs of users! Rigidity of design team blindly obeying the maxim "to blend with other Office 360 products." Please study the history of design. This ugly clutter is an affront, a headache, and the lack of an option to remove visual noise is a cruel headache and an annoyance verging on assault. Why do you treat your devoted users by taking away a basic right to control what's on our screen? How many workhours and misuses of the talent of your team was spent on what amounts to this slap in the face? Is it so esoteric an idea to ask US YOUR CUSTOMERS what we think? It's groupthink when you just ask each other, get excited, and proceed thinking you're geniuses. It's as botched as every Windows update which, though customers long for the unveiling of ease and beauty, becomes a quick trip to the vomitorium.
