I don't think Outlook needs to have the same form/layout structure as per the Office 365 APPS. The Apps are driven as a menu structure which traditionally has been allocated as functional menu options. The calendar, contacts etc are not really a functional menu item but a resource used within an app. The huge waste of space at the top of Office Outlook is also a waste of space on a narrow wide screen. What happened to the previously functionality where users could re-arrange this space to maximise the user space below for viewing the emails etc? I think sometimes Microsoft or its new hierarchy makes decisions not realising it has a huge user base across different industries and allowing the flexibility it once had is a + (huge positive) for its users and therefore products. Maybe some of this needs to reconsidered in my opinion of course. Thank you MS as over the years your products have been brilliant but I think some things need to be revisited from a multi-user perspective and all the bespoking that it's users and industries once enjoyed.
