I just discussed this issue further with the Outlook Team. With some of the scenarios you describe I worry the workaround will be complex to implement. I am asking if the Outlook Team could find any other way to address this from the client or the service. Ultimately the best long term solution will be to separate out the work account from the MSA and if you can do that you should. However, I want to see if this can still be fixed before some of you have to go implement this company wide. I'll update further after the team investigates further.
Also, just to make sure I understand the scope, all of those affected saw the search bug introduced on Office Current Channel on June 30th Version 2006 (Build 13001.20266) or higher. Is anyone seeing this new on any other channel or major Version?
