That statement is confusing because It says in the advisory that Microsoft will be monitoring for 24 hours, not that we should wait another 24 hours. It sounds like its fixed but they will be watching to make sure, whereas the way you put it makes it sound like propagation is going to take another 24 hours.

Current status: We've confirmed that the deployment is now complete. In order to resolve the issue, users must restart Outlook desktop client twice to have their search features return to normal functionality. We're going to continue monitoring service health for 24 hours to ensure no further issues occur.
Why is this fix so mystical in that we have to continue to wait an indeterminate amount of time?
Edit: And now we got another update from MS that says that the issue is fixed and this will be the last message on the subject. Please advise.
