Hi, I have just had an Outlook update for my personal account this morning (I am still using Classic).
My deleted items are suddenly now on a 7 day retention policy and therefore most of them have disappeared. (Previously there was no policy set here). I also do not have the ability to change the policy. It is greyed out in the app version (it says "Consumer Deleted Items - 1 week" which is not something I have ever seen) and the link to "add or remove retention policies" takes me to outlook web app where there are no options to change policies anywhere that I can see. (I have seen someone else's menu and they have a Retention Policies item - I do not)
I have tried following old Microsoft posts about this and none of the options seem to exist anymore.
This is incredibly annoying. Please let me know how I can remove this retention policy.
