Hi. I'd like to request an additional theme in the New Outlook.
The all white theme is too bright, and the all dark theme is too dark. Both of these themes do not have enough contrast between different elements in the user interface.
Take a look at the grey theme in Classic Outlook:
The ribbon is a different shade of grey than any other UI element
The left and right side menus are a darker grey
The email list is a different shade of grey
The body of the email is white, making it easier to focus your eyes.
It's very easy to identify what each UI element is because of their color
Then look at the white/black theme in New Outlook
Every UI element is the same shade of white or black. Because of that, everything appears clunked together making it difficult to focus on one part of the application. Not only that, but it makes navigating the application even more difficult because everything looks the same.
An all white theme hurts the eyes
An all black theme shouldn't actually be all black. It should be a grey/darker grey. Sunlight comes through office windows making it even more difficult to navigate.
I'd like to request to request a middle ground of a grey theme. Not only that, but have the UI elements different shades of grey (like Classic Outlook) making it easier to navigate and making it easier on the eyes.
