Microsofteapfah Just remember this is Beta software! You can always revert if you need access to shared mailboxes. I would suspect, but I also wouldn't bet my life on it, that they will have that up and running by the time it releases.
My calendar issue has been around forever and hasn't been fixed. I'm hoping it's fixed by release.
Also, it would be great if my tasks hadn't vanished when I turned on the new look. Telling me to try To Do on the web doesn't console me much, but I do hope that once it's integrated it'll be wonderful.
Finally, as I'm a user of both Mac and Windows, I'm wondering if any of these changes will be coming over to Windows at all, or if this is just a Mac update. It would be great if Outlook for Windows would support gmail account address books and calendars the way that Windows Mail, Outlook for Android, Outlook for iOS, and Outlook for Mac do. Seems like their dragging their feet on their own platform.
Okay, on truly final thing...
I hope they get rid of that **bleep** ribbon interface on ALL platforms. I have always hated it. Glad to see it going to the trash pile in this latest version of Outlook for Mac.
