PeterForsterthat's real-life exp. also, I got it from MS support guy over phone, it is correct behaviour .... after the user switched from classic(O2016) to new outlook, he was kicked out because the license was not valid (1st account is EP1) second is E5, so ok ... deleted all profiles/accounts in new outlook, added E5 as 1st and then EP1 bum: not valid license for EP1, so .... microsoft, going back to outlook classic, conclusion:
- no OEM license is accepted as a valid license for the new outlook, just this one is THE blocker for releasing it as a replacement ....
- not even E5 license is enough for using the new outlook for windows with second account with EP1 license, by the way I was using new outlook of windows on one machine with 2 EP1 accounts since the new outlook was released as preview, technically it is doable
hack even installing office365 under E5 license has the license for classic outlook, so we go with it, installing office365 under E5 and then add EP1 account, no problem ... would go with it sooner If I did not have brain fa.t
