robsmith41nj Some are still struggling with the Skype for Busines to Teams migration, and when you are supporting a user base that consistently gives feedback that "I tried the New Teams and had to switch back because x is missing"--even though the New Teams is noticeably faster--you know that the upcoming deadline is going to be painful since several issues are still unaddressed, yet the drop-dead timeline hasn't changed.
I agree that insulting is not helpful, the Outlook team are human beings. I agree that some of the posts are overheated, though I think few if any of the posts are meant as personal insults--that should never happen. However, I think it would be different if the Outlook team was responding to the feedback (unlike active community engagement elsewhere, e.g. Planner). The frustration level certainly rises now that there's a confirmed timeline that Win32 Outlook is EOL (and Win32 Outlook to web-wrapper Outlook is a far more disruptive change than Teams Classic to New Teams), and it's unsurprising that the volume is going up when it seems like the team can't hear its customers. Microsoft isn't a charity; companies have spent and are spending lots of money on their software to do a job. As many are pointing out here with specific reasons, this update would no longer be able to do the job for many customers. If Microsoft values those customers, they would be keenly interested in that feedback, not seemingly oblivious to it.
