Hi Folk,
https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/385262
I installed emClient to replace Outlook some months ago now after giving up on Microsofts ability to listen and to make Outlook great again, as it once was.
So, I have been ignoring this groups posts. I just checked again today to see if Microsoft has made any progress and see once again I have wasted my time, sigh!
Maybe it is time, in Microsoft's interest to start writing to Senior members of the Microsoft Board and to the Press to make this stupidity come out into the open. Surely if the Board knew what was happening or should I say what is not happening with this Outlook development they would step in and prevent more decline.
Just a few things I find utterly incomprehensible.
- Why create this group and then ignore it? This group has done nothing but frustrate serious Microsoft Outlook customers.
- Why has there been, as far as I can tell, no feedback from anybody from Microsoft?
- Even if we look at the Microsoft development plans there is nothing to give us hope.
- I won't go through, in this particular post, all the very good and fact basic requirements and features that a missing, they are clearly listed in the posts on the group.
I intend over the next week or so, to assemble all the relevant objective features I can find that are missing and the lack of feedback from Microsoft to build my case to present to the Board.
Any help from others would be appreciated.
If you think I am wasting my time going down this path that is OK with me, but I have gone down this path with two other very large software corporations and succeed in both cases.
- In the first case, the Chairman of the board personally wrote to me and thanked me for my efforts, and his intention to looking the problem. The software was fixed within two weeks.
- In the second case, the software was mysteriously fixed inside a week, but I was not contacted.
I realise this time there is no quick fix but at least we might get some action.
