Enhanced performance, designed for simplicity – the new Outlook for Mac

At least the old one mostly works. The new one is missing major components like Notes, and even after a year they haven't even provided anything. The worst part is support just apologized to me because I can't get it to stop telling me I should switch to the new version! Of course I did, that's how I discovered the missing features and went back again.

I've spent my whole software engineering career building a reputation by helping Fortune 100 companies like Microsoft build better software by using design principles, patterns, Agile to help the development process go better, everything else to make worthwhile software. Microsoft has spent decades going backwards. They constantly try to add features because they think that will sell product, like you need to buy that shiny new Chevrolet. But they've abandoned having a solid core in their applications, it's just all riddled with bugs that should have been eliminated decades ago. Honestly, I feel that my career has been a complete failure.
