When are you going to enhance the "saved search" function otherwise known as "Smart Folders" in Mac Mail?
The saved search function is very poorly designed in Outlook. For example there is no "OR" function and very limited fields to search. There seems to be no option to find all "sent email" AND "received email" from a person (or people) in the same "saved search".
"Smart Folders" are VERY powerful if implemented properly. Finding email is one of the top functions for a mail client. Folders are "smart" because they are just filters and there is no need to move email to a conventional folders. Emails are just very easy to find this way. They are far superior and simpler than "conversation" threads.
I find the search functions in Outlook particularly useless.
This is the main reason I still use Mac Mail over Outlook, i.e. the smart folder functionality and I can find things easily.
The downside of Mac Mail is the lack of good text formatting which Outlook is particularly good.
Maybe I am the only person in the world who finds "saved"searches" (Smart Folder) very useful which is probably why Microsoft have not taken the feature seriously. It has been missing for years.
