Enhanced performance, designed for simplicity – the new Outlook for Mac

The update is "cute" for a lack of a better term..it's aesthetically pleasing. I would just like to see the functionality get better before aesthetics..such as being able to support different start times for different dates in the calendar for work. That's a simple software fix that's been asked about since 2019. I'm not sure why it wouldn't have made it any updates by now but hopefully we can see it on the next one. It's annoying not being able to have appropriate work times on your calendar due to the constrictions on the app.

Secondly, being able to edit a category when submitting an event on the calendar instead of having to go through the extra steps of creating the event to have to go back into the event you just created and change the category of the event (change the color fyi)..this could be simply done on the screen that is used when creating the event to eliminate the extra steps. It seems like functionality wise, this update was not it...at all..extremely disappointing.

Third, why is the national holidays not automatically placed on the same calendar that's connected to the work email? This entire app is extremely frustrating to deal with especially on a Mac OS. I honestly wish our company went with a better software app to use for business besides outlook. Not enough functionality. Waste of time having to go through extra steps or for the steps to not even be there at all. Please fix these issues in the update. stay away from the looks of the app and lets work on the sustainability and functionality please.
