Dear Microsoft Outlook Mac Team,
It would be helpful if you published a roadmap for the (so-called) new Outlook Mac.
It seems a LOT of users are frustrated by lack of some key features (clearly well used in the present version but not available in the new version). Such a roadmap 'might' encourage me to take another look at the new version, but for now I just ignore the suggestions to 'try it' with each new update.
While the opportunity to 'preview' the new outlook is probably of interest to many, the time its taking to release a version that has the basics functioning is at best woeful (given the resources MS has at its disposal)!
From my perspective (a 30 year veteran of using MS Office), I've given up even attempting to look at the new version because:
(1) when you switch it 'on' certain functions just disappear, and the effort to 'go back' to the working original version is significant (having dones this 3 times). I have a business to run, and with great respect its NOT being a beta tester for Microsoft!!!
(2) The missing "ON MY COMPUTER" function is a complete SHOW STOPPER for me period. I have 40 years of email archived on my Mac and I will NEVER EVER submit to those emails being stored on a Microsoft server that I have zero control over)
(3) I have a number of email accounts that I use in my business and personal life. Some are POP3 and some are IMAP. I will NOT move to an Outlook product that does not allow me to access these in a unified inbox and see them in individual inboxes etc.
(4) I simply do not have the luxury of time to 'play with' the new version. I need a robust and functionaing email platfrom for my business.
So MS Outlook Mac, team - PLEASE RESPOND???
