I am currently finding this unusable as so many of the things I use are no longer available, so I have to keep switching back to the old system. However my 'Tasks' on the old system no longer works since I've started switching to the New Outlook, so I have to come back to New to get my Tasks. The things that I am finding problematic in the New version are:
- It brings up old email addresses, ie not current ones, but won’t allow me to edit or delete them in my Contacts file.
- I keep getting messages that my Outlook is nearly full, however I can no longer sort emails by size/attachments.
- And when I do have an email with a large attachment – I can’t delete just the attachment! I have to switch back to the old system to delete attachments. The only options now are Preview / Open / Save as, whereas previously there was a ‘Remove’ option also. This is a biggie for me, as I deal in large files and need to be able to remove them.
- When an email says ‘You replied to this message’, I could previously click on that and see the message that I sent. Now, there is no way of seeing the message I sent, or even when it was sent to be able to track it down. Again, have to revert to the old system to do this.
- There is no longer an ‘edit message’ function. Previously I would often use that to change the subject line to something more recognizable or relevant, e.g. when the subject line is just an order number, I could change it to the title of the book being ordered.
- When you open ‘Contacts’, it doesn’t display addresses. I have found that I have to go into ‘edit’ to find an address. However when I have created a new contact, ‘edit’ and all the other menu bar functions are greyed out, so I can’t even put in an address on a new contact!
