Enhanced performance, designed for simplicity – the new Outlook for Mac

While the new Interface is nice, I find it more difficult to find emails than before. Simply typing in the first name or a key term from the email will not show the emails I need to find, for whatever reasons. It then takes a lot of time. I sometimes browse the emails one by one using the date when I might have sent or received an email. Often I go into gmail online where the search function gives me the results within seconds.

The search function feels like 20 years ago and needs a complete overhaul.

Secondly, I actually do not like to see all conversations - send and receive. It just adds the clutter. If I want to see what I sent, I can go to the send folder. I tried to switch it off in preferences but it seemed then to remove too much.  Please keep it simple. 

As a feedback, while nice designs are cool, please focus on strong search functions and very simple lay-out going forward.
