Microsoft'New Outlook' - thats a joke!
I have had an issue with my Outlook client on my MacBook for a long time. The searching doesn't work, I can't search in any emails and theres no solution.... Oh sorry yes there is a solution so Microsoft Support says, 'Upgrade to the New Outlook client'!!! Really!?!?! If it was the 'New' Outlook, then it should provide the key elements that the old Outlook had, i.e. support for POP and IMAP! You can't call it Outlook until it has these features! And I can't upgrade for that very reason! It doesn't work as the old one does...
Can I just check, this is Microsoft isn't it?????!!!!! I'd expect some tin pot software company working from a shed in someones back garden to take such a long time to add standard features to an email client, but surely not the big Microsoft! If I were in charge of development in Microsoft I wouldn't dare put a piece of beta software (and thats what 'New' Outlook is, beta!) Out to the masses and call it a replacement to a very well know and well used piece of software.
Now I know why I'm a Mac user, couldn't put up with 'New' Surface Pros! I only put up with Office365 as my customers ask for it...
Pull your finger out Microsoft, and give us a decent email client!
