Enhanced performance, designed for simplicity – the new Outlook for Mac

After switching to Apple, as a former Windows user, I always asked myself when Microsoft would finally upgrade Outlook for Mac with essential functions from the Windows version.

Today I took an hour to read the announcement for the new release with great anticipation and I was very hopeful.

After everything I've read on this blog, all that remains is disappointment and concern as to whether Microsoft will still be the right solution for us Mac users in the future.

I hope that enough voices will come together here that will have a positive influence on the development of the new version.

For me at this stage of development absolutely useless without IMAP and POP3. I am also concerned that I will lose data when switching from the old to the new version, just like many others here, if I understand correctly.
