Outlook 16.45 was released yesterday. It's just more of the same half hearted half finished.... or rather... quarter finished work from Microsoft. Really? Microsoft has been telling us about this "new" Outlook for months, but this software is STILL not feature complete. When I switched to the "new" (and incomplete) Outlook just now, I was told that the shared mailbox I had connected to my account is not supported. Really? That's dumb. It makes this "new" Outlook totally useless. This is crapware. It gives credence to what I've said for a long time... Microsoft Office is the worst malware ever to infect a Mac. It's a good thing I only run this "new" Outlook for testing only. Otherwise, I refuse to use it. I now have to tell my clients that this "new" and allegedly improved Outlook is useless. It's a disappointment. It's more of the same half baked crapware from Microsoft. The sooner Apple users wake up and realize that they really don't need Microsoft Office the better. It's just wrong that Apple users are getting charged the same amount for Microsoft 365 that Windows users are charged, but they get less of a product. They get crap. They get incomplete software that arrives on their Mac hobbled and neutered. Outlook for Mac is not business class software. It's Fisher Price play software that pretends to be business class. I hope anyone who feels the same contacts Microsoft to tell them that they are cheating Apple users with every new release. I certainly will be!
