Just one question, and I hope it's not going to another deletion of my opinion...
We (all?) pay for Office within the monthly abo. I was expecting that when I pay Microsoft, I get the software that delivers what is necessary.
After a lot of years that I try to support Microsoft with my error reports, crash reports, supportcases etc, I see that the "legacy" Outlook 2016 for mac gets worse with every downdate. (Microsoft calls it "update", but that is not what I get.).
Now this "New Outlook" has by far less features, connections (no imap etc),...
My question is: why are we supposed to get a new version that delivers nothing but a new icons, and where 90% of what we need, is missing.
That is not what I expect when I continue my payments as usual.
So the price for the new outlook is too high. I would say the abo should be adjusted by giving us -10%.
Then, as we continue to deliver feedback, what is in fact nothing else than saying "make new one like the old one", which is a benefit for Microsoft, we also should get a price drop of about 10% as long as the new version is not ready and technically not as far as the CURRENT office for windows version.
It's no fair to me having to pay the full price and getting
- software that is not ready
- software that is not stable
- software that is going backwards compared to older versions
Yes, I could cancel my abo, I know. But should all people cancel their abo? Wouldn't it be better for Microsoft to keep their customers by improving their software?
Sadly there are too few signals from Microsoft.
