I understand what you are saying .. and I see the logic.
however reports I'm hearing from some end users is that OWA is unusable. and other people with similar hardware and network connectivity are NOT reporting this.
I've also heard from people with thousands of emails in their mailbox that they don't have any issues so I believe that it's NOT a global issue related simply to mailbox sizes.
One of the users reporting poor performance is someone who had just migrated from GMail and reported that they had approx 60 folders (I don't know how many subfolders were involved)
Are there performance considerations in relation to number of folders and subfolders (FYI: the labels used by the GMail users to classify email are migrated , by the tool that we used, over to Outlook as folders and subfolders)
Are there any performance guidelines/recommendations that you are aware of in relation to folders in OWA?
