This appears to be a positive change and I can see the benefits.
I would like consideration to better integration between Teams and Outlook Contacts. Currently, one has to initiate too many clicks to get to the phone numbers necessary to place a call. Historically, Skype was integrated with Contacts so that a drop down of all phone numbers were easily accessible with just typing the name and accessing the drop down of numbers with one click.
I use the phone a lot. Yes, I IM and Text but the phone is my preferred method of communication. The number of steps necessary to make a call is less than optimal do to how many steps it takes to get the number or the need to enter it completely anew. My sense is that most technical folks don't care about the phone, prefer text or IM, so the integration has never happened.
Further, the ellipse necessary to look at and select the various phone numbers does not seem to show up unless the screen is stretched very wide. I don't understand this "feature" and would welcome the ellipse to show up in a much narrower view.
I am not technical so I don't know if what I am asking is a major lift but the current presentation is frustrating, time consuming and does not make any sense to me. Help.
