I was half expecting a new OneDrive based Photos app that would be a solid replacement for the default photos/gallery app on Android, iPhone, Mac and Windows. I imagine the future planning is to have a standalone Photos app rather than a fairly clunky looking "Photos, Files" selection. Glad to see some focus on Photos experience, especially tagging and people. We can only hope the "People" feature finally makes its way back to the Windows Photos app once again, it's a massive omission after having been around since 2009 in various forms in Microsoft's own gallery apps.
Never forget the power, speed and integration of native apps, PWA's work in many instances, but I don't think photos or files could ever be fully replaced the way they operate currently.
Also please note that the use of seasons like "Summer 2025" is near on useless in a global context. I get you're trying to give flexibility on the timeline, but is that Early 2025 (Jan-Feb), Mid 2025 (July-Aug), or late 2025 (Dec)? I THINK I know what you mean, because I'm not stupid, but for a global company, you should be smarter than this. I thought this was sorted when you received backlash for using seasons in the Windows 10 releases. Your marketing team needs more of a global education, if you want to operate globally.
