OneDrive is supposed to be a silent sync service You never hear anything from. Instead, the last two months or so it has been a constant source of troubles, intertwined with some hope, and regular disappointments.
OD in its present incarnation a memory and CPU hog. It is constantly using between 10 and 25 % CPU - every day, for at least a week, all day long. Virtual memory is currently at 80 GB, with a steeply rising tendency. One of two instances disappears on a regular basis. All files should have been synced long ago. The only ones with a cloud symbol are file bundles, which should be supported by now, but still aren't.
Oh wait the second instance of OD also just disappeared.
If the app is doing something demanding I'd like to know: what, and how long is the estimated duration. This has been going on for days. "Processing changes" is too little and doesn't say anything.
