Still didn't get the 22.033 update, but I just had an issue that further reduced my trust in OneDrive.
I was simply working on a small Word document in my OneDrive yesterday, wishing to bring some changes to it. When I tried to open it form the Finder, Word said that the file was corrupt and failed to recover it. I tried a few times, to no avail. I then went to the online version and opened it successfully in Safari. After that, I was able to open it from the Finder.
This morning, when I checked the file in the Finder, I notice that another copy of the file, named <original name>-<machine name>.docx is now present in the folder. This one is corrupt and cannot be opened by Word.
The original document was created a few days ago and has since only been edited (only a few times) on this Mac.
I really hope this was an isolated issue that is resolved by 22.033 as this is the kind of problems that got me away from Google Drive, years ago.
