The Shared Library in OneDrive will now even confuse people more on when to use OneDrive vs SharePoint team site vs Teams.
OneDrive meant to be storing users’ personal work related files and not for storing team/departmental files and an user’s OneDrive gets deleted after 30 days by default once the user leaves the company (His/her AD acct gets deleted). And their all files are gone after that time period. So imagine the nightmare if that user had shared team/departmental documents in his/her OneDrive. It’s troublesome MS does not specifically mention in this type of communication that OneDrive is primarily meant for storing personal work related documents.
