Dear Microsoft OneDrive Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to provide feedback on my experience with OneDrive, particularly in terms of file downloads, uploads, and system integration.
Firstly, I've noticed that downloading a significant number of files through the OneDrive browser interface tends to be time-consuming and often lacks stability. This issue has been consistently observed across various computers, all equipped with a robust 1GB internet connection. I believe that improving the speed and reliability of browser-based downloads is essential for enhancing the overall user experience.
Similarly, uploading files to OneDrive also presents challenges in terms of time efficiency. Uploading files can take a considerable amount of time, which can be frustrating for users, especially when dealing with larger files or multiple uploads. Streamlining the upload process would be greatly appreciated.
Furthermore, I would like to address the integration of OneDrive with Windows 11 and Windows 10. While the integration is undoubtedly a valuable feature, there is room for improvement in terms of user interface and error management. It would be beneficial if the user had more control over resolving errors within the OneDrive system integration. Additionally, taking inspiration from tools like MegaSync, having OneDrive operate with its own dedicated thread pool for user interface interactions and file transfers would enhance the overall performance and responsiveness. Moreover, a management interface accessible through the system tray would make it significantly easier and faster to manage large-scale downloads, uploads, and handle any encountered errors.
I believe that these improvements would greatly enhance the overall user experience and increase the efficiency of using OneDrive as a cloud storage solution. Your attention to these matters would be highly appreciated by the OneDrive community.
Thank you for considering my feedback, and I look forward to seeing potential enhancements in future updates to OneDrive.
Best Regards
