Apple M1, version 12.4, OneDrive version 22.077.0410.0007 a definitely, despite your blog update from January 2022, I cannot maintain pinned copy of my files on the external drive since it filled out completely my internal drive which is small. It began since I was forced to switch to AFPS file system.
Although I work with OneDrive with external drive for years, this never happened to me, I now cannot "Always Keep On Drive". I performed couple of tests:
1. Locating on external drive and make all files "available online" completely filled by root drive 2. Tested on smaller portion - MOVIES folder at a size of 120GB - it reduced by root drive space with a similar size! (See DaisyDisk analysis on root drive's "Group Containers"
3. Cache folder is indeed located on the external drive 4. Root drive claim for "Dataless" in external drive case is completely wrong.
