If there's not functionality that I desperately need, I'm a slow adopter, so I'm on Big Sur still. Largely was unscathed by all this, but this past week all the files that I had that were "save space" cloud only started returning to my computer. All the files I'd archived to other media then tucked in the cloud so I could get to them from wherever/whenever I needed are now back on my computer and i have little HD space left.
OneDrive wasn't ever quite perfect, but it's a tool I relied on and it worked well. When my laptop had to be in the shop for a week, I worked a touch slower but with almost not loss of functionality or productivity from an iPad with an external keyboard and OneDrive. It suited my needs. Now I need to walk away from it because the functionality that suited my workflow is gone.
