Goodbye Microsoft,
after weeks and weeks of waiting for a solution (you already had that solution in the previous versions) I cancelled my subscription for 365 now.
I am so sick about the arrogance of Microsoft, not only in developing a functionality which nobody wants and needs but most of all because of the behavior of @Ankita Kirti and the team.
These jerks probably are sitting in their office, drinking coffee and making jokes about the worldwide users struggling with this "new experience".
This is the worst behavior from a software company I have ever seen.
We don't talk about a not working text editor or presentation software - we are talking about a cloud solution where we all put our data in. This is a huge trust we put into a company.
After 30 years of working with Microsoft is a big step for me.
I really did love the 365 suite on my Mac - but there is NO TRUST anymore in that OneDrive team and OneDrive as a cloud solution. And NO TRUST anymore in a software company who decides without any notice to move all of my data to somewhere deep in my hard drive and also forces me to delete them and only providing them in a cloud. That's not only arrogant, in my opinion this is criminal!
But doing all of that bullshit - the worse thing is the response behavior of that team here. NO actions within weeks but publishing stupid news instead (@Ankita Kirti). You should be fired fooling us in that way!!
OneDrive and that team is THE WORST "EXPERIENCE" IN OVER 30 YEARS IN IT!!!
I moved all my OneDrive files to iCloud.
That was easy.
Then I figured out where these files are stored locally. Typical for Apple they are in the Library folder, in a subdirectory called Mobile Documents.
I marked this folder as a favorite in my finder - et voilĂ - that's the solution I was looking for.
