Ankita Kirti My issue with Files on Demand with OneDrive on the Mac is that sometimes I have a big collection of pictures in a folder, and I need to find one specific picture out of a small section quickly, and I only need that particular picture. For example, a folder has 100 pictures, I require one picture out of 20. However, all 100 are on the cloud, and there isn't a local copy on my computer. So, using the space bar preview doesn't work as it only shows me a tiny preview which isn't useful. So I have to download all 20, fine, but there's no easy way to do it all in one go - I have to click on a small cloud icon on every single picture to download them, and only then I'm able to use the space bar preview properly. I don't need to enable "Always Keep on This Device" - there need to be a button where I can download part of a folder without having to use "Always Keep on This Device" because it's not necessary. Maybe there's a method, but it's not obvious.
I have to agree with the others, I spend time having to wait for the directory contents to download, which is time-consuming. It's not a big problem for me, personally, but if all my files were on OneDrive, that'd be a dealbreaker. Also, it's still an Intel app, and there's no Apple Silicon version? Microsoft have had a LOT of time, and certainly funds, to prepare for this.
