I do hope that reading all those comments made you realise that deleting MY FILES from MY COMPUTER WITHOUT MY CONSENT or prior notice is NOT OK.
I can't get them back through MacOSX because the sync process does not support specific files, in my case .xmind files.
Your silence is deafening, the "email only" OneDrive support is clueless and merely a buffer between us and the dev team (in the best case scenario), so we are all trying to find way to get OUR files back.
I have now fired up a virtual windows machine on my Mac to sync all my files onto an external hard drive that I will then copy over onto my Mac.
This process has cost us all countless hours and a lot of worry. We can't express enough how disappointed we are about your lack of communication and reaction (and testing beforehand - but that goes without saying).
And for our inconvenience, we are not getting anything back. This is really the poorest customer service I have experienced in a very long time.
