@Oliver105 Yes, yesterday I successfully moved my 250 GB of files from OneDrive to iCloud. I did that by copying everything in my OneDrive folder on my Mac to a junk folder. This in effect “touched” every file putting them back in the sync root. Unfortunately, it didn’t work for many subfolders on OneDrive and I had to go back and do those subfolders individually. Once I thought it was done I spot checked select files to be sure. Once I felt good about that I unlinked my Mac from OneDrive, deleted the OneDrive App, moved all the folders to iCloud, and deleted the OneDrive folder on the Mac. The new iCloud files took overnight to upload from my Mac to iCloud. I think I’ve got them all safely there now.
Yes, that took me a lot of time but this situation shook any confidence I had in OneDrive. I can now cancel my Microsoft subscription and won’t have to worry about what they do or don’t do any longer.
