This was and is a terrible experience. I am in the middle of teaching a class where my files are synched between OneDrive and GitHub and BOTH break. There was no warning. The files just stopped being accessible. Then when I try to recover what happened my onedrive says the synching is no longer working. I stop the synch and reboot. Then it says only 380000 files to synch. That takes a while. Then all of my links to my github repos and my commit histories are broken. So now I am having to fix everything twice. Then I find out my files are not accessible when offline unless I have already pinned the file or the folder. So now more work and more waiting for things to synch.
The director of this rollout should be fired along with the lead for user experience and communication. It is the worst computer rollout I have seen in over forty years. No excuse for how this happened.
